In a meditation taken from the book of 1 John 3:23, the leader of the Mount Horeb ministry calls Christians to believe in the virtues of love.
1John.3.23 – And this is his commandment, that we believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ, and love one another, as he commanded us. (KJV)
.faith and Love are the strongest laws that set life in motion, they are the later virtues that set life on the path like Greece, the car (1 Cor. 13: 13); This is because they are the believers in trust.
It just takes trust to walk together. You do not deal freely and satisfactorily with someone you do not trust.
From our anchor scripture, the Apostle John exhorts us to believe in Jesus and love one another, and this is a commandment.
You can’t truly believe in someone until you firmly believe in Jesus. There is a difference between believing and believing in someone. To believe in someone is to accept and receive their person in a convincing way beyond all expectations, while to believe in someone can simply be to agree with them.
Believing in Jesus first makes you see, receive and love men like him.
We are thus commanded to believe in Jesus and love one another.
In practice, God doesn’t expect much from us as believing men because he knows it will naturally be difficult without believing in Jesus first, so he expects us to love ourselves first because that love will give birth to faith and trust.
.You can easily love someone because you are ordered to, and according to the law of the spirit, a command is accompanied by a Grace which freely commits men to obedience, even unconsciously.*
Where and when you see men struggling to believe others, notice that there is a problem with true love.
FEAR is the main reason why men cannot just believe in themselves, but the Bible says “Perfect love casts out fear” ;_ so if we truly love, fear will be destroyed and we will believe and we we will trust in ourselves.
Obedience to GOD’s Commandments is what validates access to BLESSINGS. It is a blessing to believe in JESUS*. If you have not done so, please pray this brief prayer of salvation with me. Confess it out loud believing in your heart as you pray :_
SAY: “Dear God, thank you for the gift of your son JESUS whom you sent to die shamefully for me. .I confess that I am a sinner, but at this moment I repent of my sons; I recognize you and receive you JESUS into my life as my LORD and Savior in Jesus name, AMEN”, AMEN AMEN 🙏_
